Psychotherapy for Kids & Teens
By the time parents begin exploring treatment options, they are often already feeling frustrated — and at times, unsure of how to best support their child.
I view parents as essential partners in the therapeutic process. Their insight, care, and deep understanding of their child are invaluable in creating a meaningful and effective therapy experience.
Children
I help children understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors — and how changes in one area can create positive shifts in others. Using play, creativity, and age-appropriate tools, we build emotional vocabulary, self-awareness, and resilience in a space that feels
safe and welcoming.
Adolescents
I create space for honest
conversations about peer pressure,
risk-taking, body image, and feeling misunderstood — while navigating
the ongoing tension between fitting
in and developing a strong, authentic sense of self. Teens often find it easier
to open up when they feel genuinely heard rather than evaluated, and
that's exactly the environment
I aim to create.
Young Adults
Emerging adulthood can be a disorienting time. Our work focuses on navigating relationships, strengthening identity, and managing life transitions — including leaving home, entering the workforce, and figuring out who you are outside of the structures that once defined you — with greater clarity
and confidence.
My younger clients may come in with concerns related to ... Anxiety and Depression | Attachment and Independence | Feelings of Hopelessness or Isolation | Emotional Regulation | Identity Development | Social Challenges | Neurodivergence & Learning Differences | Academic Pressure & Performance Anxiety
